Gender Alliance for Development Center(GADC) - Tirana
The Gender Alliance for Development Center (GADC) is an Albanian non-profit organization founded in 1994 that operates and works throughout Albania. GADC is a voice for Albanian women and a force for change. The organization works to empower women and create an equal and just future for low-income girls and women throughout Albania, striving to lift them out of poverty and exclusion.
The main thematic areas of GADC expertise are:
1-Protection of women’s rights in the workplace
2-Empowering citizens to monitor the local gender agenda
3-Increasing women’s representation in politics and decision-making
4-Promoting peace and efforts to end gender-based violence
5-Improving women’s rights in rural areas
Association for Integration of Informal Areas(AIIA)- Kamez
Association for Integration of Informal Areas (AIIA)is a community-based organization established in 2007. The work of AIIA is focused on mobilizing citizens of informal areas as active citizens, empowering women in these areas in social and economic terms, educating citizens on the importance of participatory democracy, as well as encouraging them to be actively involved in initiatives for the benefit of the community in which they live.
The main activities of AIIA are focused on:
1-Promoting human rights, democratic principles and the rule of law in society
2-Promoting the rights of vulnerable population groups
3-Educating residents of informal areas with the principles of democracy and civic participation
4-Supporting communities of informal areas to lobby with decision-making bodies
5-Dissemination of methods and capacity building of groups in need of the population
Youth For Integration, Activation and Awareness (YIAA)– Pogradec
Youth for Integration, Activation and Awareness (YIAA) is a non-profit organization that aims to raise the awareness of the Albanian youth against all the problems it faces. Our vision is for Albanian youth to be stronger actors and committed to decision-making and problem solving.
There are three main pillars where YIAA focuses on work:
1-Civic engagement of young people focused on activating the younger generation in solving and facing the challenges of Albanian youth. Through our initiatives, we aim to promote, activate and create new opportunities for increasing the capacity of Albanian youth.
2-Education and upbringing of Albanian youth. Albanian youth are increasingly facing problems related to their educational and academic formation.
3-Creating models of cooperation of youth organizations as opportunities for employment and self-employment.
Civil Society Development Center (CSDC) - Durrës
Civil Society Development Center (CSDC),Durrës promotes and supports the development of civil society in the Durrës region through support, mobilization and bringing together the most important actors from civil society and local government.
CSDC is very effective in coordinating and empowering civil society organizations and actors in the Durres region, focusing on youth and gender equality. From many years of experience, CSDC has influenced civil society organizations and has successfully promoted the cooperation, activism and networks of civil society and local government organizations.
In addition to strengthening existing civil society groups, the center encourages and supports the creation of new organizations and community-based groups. Recently, the new structure set up by DYM-Durres Youth Movement, has taken on the features of a youth center, which engages young people in volunteering to the community. The YAC (Youth Advisory Commission) set up is closer to decision-making processes at the local level.
Youth Center “New Epoch”– Fier
Youth Center New Epoch organizes activities and provides services for young people aged 14-29. The center was opened in 2005 with the main goal of addressing the needs of young people in the local government, empowering them to undertake activities and self-organize, in order to become an active part of the community.
New Epochbelieves in the power of young people to act as agents for change in society. In this regard, the center organizes and supports various youth initiatives in order to improve local and central policies in issues such as; education, public health, environment, youth, gender equality, etc.
The aim of the organization is to support the process of social change, development, democratic progress and improving the life of the community, through cooperation with young people.
Young Intellectuals, Hope (IRSH) – Shkoder
The Young Intellectuals, Hope is a socio-cultural, independent, non-political and non-profit association approved by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Sports of Albania.
The IRSH works for the development of civil society in Albania as well as the promotion of Peace and Stability in the Balkans.
The organization represents people who hope to be Intellectuals as teachers, University professors, students, engineers, lawyers, doctors, economists and various groups from non-governmental organizations.
The name of the organization means:
“HOPE” to be good Intellectuals!

Youth Movement for Democracy Center – Puke
Youth Movement for Democracy Center is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit organization, which was established in July 2011. The main goal is to support the changes in social and public life as well as the development of democratic and development of the progress on community life.
Vision: Active citizens and involved in the processes of democratization of community life.
Mission: Youth Movement for Democracy Center contributes to improving the public social life of the community in the Municipality of Puka and Fushë Arrëz through education, awareness, capacity building and advocacy programs.

Center for Youth Progress (CYP) – Kukes
Center for Youth Progressis an independent, non-partisan, non-profit, research, research, educational and advisory institution that aims to support local formal and informal youth groups in youth programs; developing youth initiatives by working closely with various actors to promote quality services for young people.
The activity of the organization aims at:
1-Supporting formal and informal youth groups towards youth programs
2-Development of youth initiatives and close cooperation with other actors to promote quality services for young people
3-Advocacy for effective youth policies and youth involvement in local programs as well as good governance
4-Local, National and International Partnership
Vlora Youth Center
Vlora Youth Center is a non-profit organization that has been working in the Vlora region since 1998, in the interest of the public, respecting human rights and democracy.
The organization is based on the principles of justice and social and economic solidarity, democratic participation in community life, promotion of civil, social and human rights and volunteerism.
The organization promotes: Volunteering; Socio-economic integration of youth groups; Local democracy; Equal opportunities between men and women; Peace and social justice; Strong institutions and good governance.
